Volunteerism

Supporting neighbors through volunteerism and charitable giving is an important part of BCBSMT's corporate citizenship. It’s what we call Blue Corps – activating employees to participate in the communities where we live, work and play. Giving back to Montana communities is an extension of our commitment to build lasting relationships with our members and health care providers.

Blue Corps employee volunteers annually commit more than 9,000 hours to help community partners. BCBSMT employees also invest in their communities’ needs by contributing generously to BCBSMT’s charitable giving campaign.

Governor’s Cup and Kids Marathon

BCBSMT is the long-standing sponsor and organizer of the Learn more about third-party links Governor’s Cup, Montana’s premier running event for nearly 50 years. About 4,000 people annually participate, including more than 2,500 elementary students who participate in the Kid’s Marathon, a program designed to inspire Montana’s kids to be active in a fun and rewarding group environment.
